I was born Seetha Nidamarthi in late 1940's in Chennai, into the family of Nidamarthi Ramakrishnayya and Kondapalli Saraswati. I was brought up by my grandfather Nidamarthi Narasimham in Chennai. I had pre-degree education in Kesari High School, Mylapore and Queen Mary's College and took a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, during the early 70's from Madras University.

Married to Prasad Satyavolu in mid 70's, we are proud parents of two children. Our son, Ramakrishna (Schwark), is a Mechanical Engineer turned Computer Engineer. Our daughter Meenakshi an Architect / Construction Management executive. She is married to Kaushik a Computer Engineer. They are ALL achievers in their fields and working in the USA.

We are permanently based out of Chennai. We own our apartment home in the Rajah Annamalaipuram area of Chennai.

I am staunch believer in god and actively participate in various religious activities. Our ishta devata is Lord Venkateswara of Tirupati. I am also a strong believer in Shirdi Sai Baba, and attend bhajans regularly.
