Born in the late 70's in Visakhapatnam, in my native Andhra
Pradesh, India, I was the named after my grandmother
Satyavolu Alamelu Meenakshi Ammagaru who I hear was a very virtuous and gentle
lady. I did my Junior School in Timpany
School in Visakhapatnam. I moved to Madras,
with my family and attended Vidya Mandir
(Mylapore) for my Junior High.
Following the Nidamarthi
(my mother's family) tradition, I then moved to Rosary Matriculation
Higher Secondary School. Having graduated from there I went on to the School
of Architecture and Planning, Anna University, Madras. I
worked with a number of Middle Eastern and British Architectural Firms during
my undergrad.
Intrigued by the research
at Stanford University, CA
in the field of Virtual Design and Construction, I went on to pursue my
Master's in Construction Management there. I am now working with Swinerton
Builders in Northern California.
